We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Nurse to join our vibrant team at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC), a world-class facility delivering top-notch care to young patients.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in administering intravenous medication, chemotherapy, and blood products to oncology patients. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care, develop clinical expertise, and participate in professional development programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Administering medications and treatments to paediatric oncology patients with precision and care.
- Delivering exceptional patient outcomes through effective communication, empathy, and compassion.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimised patient experiences.
- Participating in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in paediatric oncology care.
Your Background and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Broad knowledge and experience of clinical nursing practice within a hospital environment.
- Competence in calculations for safe administration of medicines/fluids.
- Able to work with minimal supervision, prioritising tasks and managing your workload effectively.
- RSCN/RN child branch (NMC registered) or equivalent qualification.
- Current NMC registration.
