Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. With a strong background in Windows Server and Active Directory, you will be responsible for:

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement Windows Server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and performance optimization.
  2. Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user and group management, security policies, and disaster recovery solutions.
  3. Collaborate with the IT team to implement new server technologies and applications.
  4. Document server configurations and procedures for future reference.
  5. Adhere to IT security policies and best practices.
Technical Skills needed for the role include:
  1. Strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems (2012 R2, 2016, 2019).
  2. Active Directory administration, including group policy management, user and group creation, and security configuration.
  3. Experience with DNS and file services configuration.
  4. Working knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
  5. Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions (Veeam).
Core Knowledge Requirements needed for the role:
  1. 5+ years of experience in a large 24/7 enterprise and ITIL environment.
  2. Experience with Windows Server (2012, 2016 or 2019).
  3. Ability to create/manage Domain Services and configuration including disaster recovery scenarios, managing security groups, delegation, OU structure, object types, and attributes.
  4. Experience with Active Directory, VMware, and Veeam technologies.
  5. Knowledge of the 3 large hyperscalers.
  6. Human competencies: teamwork and multicultural awareness.
  7. Leadership skills: initiative, effective communication, ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
  1. Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  2. Microsoft certification (MCSA/MCSE Windows Server), Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, and/or Microsoft Certified Expert.
