About the Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled Principal PDMS Piping Designer to join our team based in Stockton on Tees. Our team of approximately 140 professionals offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including clean energy, effluent treatment, and nuclear decommissioning.

As a Principal PDMS Piping Designer, you'll be responsible for executing design and draughting activities, producing isometrics, piping layouts, and detailed drawings. You'll also liaise with our stress engineer to ensure design pipe supports meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute design and draughting activities, including concept, FEED, technical study, and detailed design.
  • Produce and check isometrics, piping layouts, pipe supports, general arrangements, detailed drawings, special item datasheets, bulk take-offs, and associated line / valve schedules.
  • Liaise with stress engineer for design pipe supports.
  • Be proficient with PDMS, Autodesk Plant 3D, and Navisworks Manage.

Requirements

  • Degree Qualified
  • 5 years engineering experience working within a regulated industry.
  • Be fully conversant with UK Statutory Regulations and industry design guides and standards relating to this discipline.
  • Be proficient with PDMS, Autodesk Plant 3D, and Navisworks Manage.
