Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients, providing high-quality, person-focused care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
  • Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
  • Accompanying to appointments or shopping
  • Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent

About the Role:

This is a part-time Care Assistant role, working a variety of shifts to ensure our clients receive the care and support they need. As a Care Assistant, you will be working as part of a close-knit team, providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care or a related field is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
