We are seeking a skilled Care Services Director to lead our team in an EBD/LD environment. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to staff, ensuring high-quality care and support to service users. You will work closely with individuals with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Learning Disabilities, creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes independence, well-being, and positive outcomes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of support staff, ensuring consistent delivery of high standards of care and support.
- Develop, implement, and review individual care plans, meeting the needs of each service user.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including safeguarding and health and safety standards.
- Effectively manage shifts, overseeing rotas, sleep-ins, and emergency cover to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Identify and address training needs within the team, delivering training sessions to support staff development.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a similar setting, focusing on Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and/or Learning Disabilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including sleep-ins and weekends as required.
- A full UK driving license is necessary.
Benefits:
- A competitive salary of £26,000 - £28,500 per annum.
- Sleep-in allowance for 6 sleep-ins per month.
