Staff Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at a well-respected nursing home in Swadlincote. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to young adults with physical disabilities.

About the Role

This is a permanent contract with full or part-time hours available, offering a competitive salary of £21.00 per hour. You will work on day or night shifts, with the opportunity to work flexibly within a rostered hours and on-call rota as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement care plans to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Manage and administer medications, working in collaboration with HCAs on duty.
  • Work as Nurse in Charge of the home, overseeing the delivery of care and ensuring the smooth operation of the nursing team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NMC Registered Nurse - Adult/RGN or Mental Health/RMN qualification.
  • Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
  • Ability to demonstrate effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
  • Ideal experience working with young adults with physical disabilities.
