We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Archaeology Field Technician III & IV, which can be based out of various offices in Ontario. As a successful candidate, you will conduct stages 2-4 archaeological field work under the guidance of a field supervisor, taking on a junior leadership role during field operations.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in archaeology or anthropology, a valid Ontario driver's license, and demonstrated ability to support field supervisors with technical aspects of archaeology. They must also be able to communicate effectively and lead the team.

In exchange for your skills and experience, you can expect a salary of $27-$54 per hour, depending on qualifications and location. Additionally, AECOM offers a wide range of benefits and well-being programs to meet the diverse needs of our employees and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct stages 2-4 archaeological field work under the guidance of a field supervisor
  • Taking on a junior leadership role during field operations
  • Assisting the Field Supervisor with technical aspects of field work
  • Contributing to the training of new team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in archaeology or anthropology
  • Valid Ontario driver's license
  • Demonstrated ability to support field supervisors with technical aspects of archaeology
