About the Role

In this role, you will create and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards, using best practices in data visualization to deliver clear and actionable insights that align with established standards and templates. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure data models and reporting initiatives are aligned with business strategy and contribute to the development of business intelligence governance policies.

Your technical expertise will be vital as you provide guidance and support to colleagues on data modelling and reporting, leading training sessions and workshops to enhance their skills and ensuring effective use of business intelligence tools and technologies. Committed to maintaining high data quality and accuracy, you will document data models, definitions, and reporting processes comprehensively, conducting regular reviews and updates to keep data relevant and reliable.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data models to support business intelligence reporting needs, ensuring performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data models with existing data architecture.
  • Create and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards based on business requirements, using best practices in data visualization.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to align data models and reporting initiatives with business strategies.
  • Support the development of business intelligence strategies and governance policies.
  • Provide input on best practices for data modelling and reporting across teams.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to colleagues on data modelling and reporting.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills of colleagues in business intelligence tools and technologies.
  • Ensure high data quality and accuracy in data models and reports, with clear and comprehensive documentation.
About You
  • Experience in data modelling, business intelligence reporting, data analysis or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven expertise in developing and maintaining data models optimized for performance and scalability.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL scripting & data visualization tools and technologies such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, with a track record of creating high-quality reports and dashboards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide technical support and training to colleagues, work effectively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high data quality and accurate documentation.
