Primary School Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a small Primary school in the South Wales Valleys. The successful candidate will work closely with a Year 2 pupil who requires additional support and will be responsible for delivering literacy and numeracy sessions, recording pupil progress, and liaising with the class teacher to create lesson materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Follow lesson plans set by the class teacher
- Deliver literacy and numeracy sessions
- Record pupil progress and liaise with the class teacher to create lesson materials
- Experience working with pupils aged 3-11 with additional learning needs
- Previous experience working in a Primary school or similar educational setting
- Knowledge and understanding of the Primary curriculum
