Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Maths tutor to join our team at The Manchester College. As a dedicated and experienced teacher, you will play a key role in delivering Maths education to students across various levels, helping them achieve their academic milestones.

About the Position

This permanent, full-time role is based at our Wythenshawe campus, where you will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to provide high-quality education services. Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging Maths lessons to cater to different learning styles.
  • Create and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse students, ensuring they make progress and achieve their qualifications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and expertise, enhancing the overall quality of education.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback and guidance to support their development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed) and a strong understanding of Maths curriculum.
  • Experience of teaching Maths to students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with changes in Maths education and best practices.
  • A DBS check and any other relevant clearances as part of our safeguarding process.
