About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and dedicated English Teacher to join our esteemed team at Wayman Group. As a key member of our English department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences to our students.

The successful candidate will have a passion for English and a proven track record of achieving outstanding results. You will be an excellent communicator with strong ICT skills and the ability to inspire and motivate our students to excel in their studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan, deliver and assess engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • To develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress
  • To contribute to the development of the English curriculum and resources
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to provide support and guidance to students
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in English or a related subject
  • QTS or PGCE qualification
  • Proven experience of teaching English to GCSE and A-Level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
