Job Title: Digital Forensic Investigator

LT Harper - Cyber Security Recruitment is seeking an experienced Digital Forensic Investigator to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team, handling complex forensic cases for clients worldwide. The position is based in the UK and requires occasional travel to London for lab work.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing forensic cases, including knowledge of data collection and formatting for review. They should be able to conduct both remote and on-site data collections, maintain and enforce policy standards within the lab environment, document, research, and develop workflows for new and challenging data types.

The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a skilled professional with a passion for digital forensics, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage forensic cases from start to finish, ensuring data collection is in line with industry standards.
  • Conduct both remote and on-site data collections.
  • Travel across the UK and globally for various data collection assignments.
  • Maintain and enforce policy standards within the lab environment.
  • Document, research, and develop workflows for new and challenging data types.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing forensic cases, including knowledge of data collection and formatting for review.
  • Experience with remote and on-site collections.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and internationally for data collection assignments.
  • Strong understanding of policy standards in the lab.
  • Ability to document, research, and create workflows for new or complex data types.
  • Current experience working with a vendor or consultancy in a digital forensics role.
  • Hold UK Citizenship with 5 years of continuous residency
