About the Role

Solutions Engineer - Electrical

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Engineer - Electrical to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative energy solutions that drive the transition to a more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical solutions for industrial applications, leveraging your expertise in power systems and energy technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects from specification to commissioning, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to understand their unique operational challenges and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, applying your knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering, energy systems, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of large electrical drive systems, including HV-MV distribution, transformers, converters, harmonic filters, cooling systems, and electric motors.
  • Experience with installations exceeding 1000V, network and fault current calculations, and large drive systems over 1 Megawatt.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
