{"Job Title": "Packing Operative", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a skilled Packing Operative to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for packing processed animal food safely and efficiently, meeting the required finished standard.

Key Responsibilities:

* Pack and palletize safe product for our customers, right first time, in a clean and controlled environment
* Achieve the above, at the lowest possible cost by reducing waste, running the asset at the required speed, using your training and experience to resolve asset issues, and effectively escalating downtime for resolution by shift engineers
* Work well with your peers and under the direction of the Shift Manager and the Lead Operative Packing, to undertake the above, and any other duties commensurate with the role

Requirements:

* Manufacturing background. Preferably in food, pet food or FMCG
* Food Safety L2
* Awareness of BRC
* IOSH Working Safely
* Some awareness of CI tools and techniques
* Can do attitude. Seeks a solution
* Honest and empathetic with a sense of perspective
* Team player. We win together and lose together
* Open to change and willing to learn
