About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Engineering Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Andover. The successful candidate will have experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the FMCG sector.

The estimated salary for this position is around £52,000 per year, which includes a competitive bonus and comprehensive benefits package.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing planned and reactive maintenance on all machinery, including identifying modifications and upgrades. You will also be required to record all relevant data, develop training materials for the operations teams, and continually improve equipment maintenance strategies.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborating with the operations teams to develop training materials and ensure seamless integration of new processes.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including documentation and reporting.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • An Apprentice-trained mechanical engineer qualification, with a NVQ3 in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing engineering equipment, with experience working in production lines, warehouses, and distribution centres.
  • Strong MS Office skills and experience with CMMS systems.
