Accounting Assistant/Senior Accountant Opportunity

TPF Recruitment is working with a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in Margate, seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant/Senior Accountant to join their team in a general practice position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts, tax, and VAT preparation, with excellent communication and coaching skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare statutory accounts to review stage
  • Assist with management accounts production
  • Personal taxation, corporate taxation, and VAT returns
  • General bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
  • Coach and mentor junior staff members and trainees
Requirements:
  • 1-5 years of experience within an accountancy practice
  • Studying AAT/ACCA or qualified by experience
  • Hands-on experience in accounts, tax, and VAT preparation
Benefits:
