This role offers an exceptional opportunity for experienced Series Producers to step up to an Executive Producer level in Specialist Factual Productions, BBC Studios, based in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be supported by a team of established Executive Producers and receive extensive on-the-job training, working closely with the Creative Director and Genre Head.

  • Develop and deliver high-quality, compliant, on-schedule, and on-budget projects.
  • Lead editorial experience at Series Producer level, specifically across Documentaries and specialist factual programming.
  • A current track record of shaping and delivering premium content series with major broadcasters, including the BBC, Sky, Channel 4, and major SVoDs.
  • Establish a network of commissioner relationships across a breadth of broadcasters and platforms.
  • Effectively plan and organise, prioritising tasks, delivering consistently to deadlines, and reacting positively to changes and conflicting priorities.
  • Proven senior-level experience in financial and budget planning, working closely with production management teams to keep multiple and complex shows within budget.
  • Manage on-screen talent effectively.
