Job Opportunity: GMP Production Manufacturing Technician

An exciting opportunity has been created due to company growth. Our client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company, is looking to recruit a Production Manufacturing Technician based in Oxford. The successful candidate will work in a Grade B and Grade C GMP clean room manufacturing environment, making TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) as allocated on the production planning system to cGMP and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble raw materials and ingredients for compounding sterile products
  • Manufacture live-saving products in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) manually and using a compounder
  • Assist in the preparation of sterile products, their labelling, packaging, and dispatch
  • Replenish stock and rotate stock
  • Perform visual inspection of finished products
  • Ensure a high quality of service to the customer and adhere to Health and Safety requirements and company procedures
  • Perform and record all cleaning for the equipment, areas of work, and supplies as and when required as defined in the relevant SOP's and in accordance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice
  • Ensure adequate and appropriate stocks of equipment and supplies
  • Perform pre-compounding, compounding, and post-compounding checks
Requirements:
  • GCSE English and Maths - Grade C or above
  • Ideal pharmaceutical/medical device GMP production/manufacturing/operator experience in a clean room environment
  • PC literate and numerate

This is a 6 months contract role, which will be reviewed for a potential extension or go permanent, dependent on individual and business performance. The PAYE rate is £14.04 per hour.
