A leading organisation in the logistics industry is seeking a skilled and reliable Packer to join their team at their Cheltenham location. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in manual handling, picking, and packing to become an integral part of a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:- Packing items based on packing specifications using a variety of materials requested by the client.
- Picking customer orders accurately using a pick sheet.
- Entering client order details into their systems with precision and attention to detail.
- Printing labels and labeling picked/packaged orders, ensuring they are ready for despatch.
- Scanning and filing documents to maintain accurate records.
- Conducting stock counts and promptly reporting any discrepancies in stock and packaging materials.
- Providing support to other departments during busy periods.
- A basic DBS check will be conducted to work on our client's premises.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in a packing role.
- Familiarity with manual handling techniques.
- Proficient in picking customer orders.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to enter data accurately into systems.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure all orders are packed correctly.
- Willingness to support other departments when required.
