SEN Teaching Assistant Role in Enfield

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Outstanding Primary School in Enfield. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing individualized support and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

About the Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one and small group assistance to students with SEN, helping them to develop social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Assisting in the creation and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting a culture of respect and understanding.
  • Tracking student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents, and contributing to the development of a holistic education plan.
  • Aiding in classroom management, ensuring a safe and organized learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
