Job Title: Orbital Welder
Salary: Up to £43,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and set up welding equipment, including orbital welding machines, power supplies, and gas systems.
  • Ensure all necessary materials, such as pipes or tubes, are clean, properly aligned, and ready for welding.
  • Program and calibrate orbital welding machines based on specific project requirements.
  • Adjust welding parameters, such as current, voltage, and rotation speed, to achieve the desired weld characteristics.
  • Operate orbital welding equipment to perform high-precision welds on a variety of materials, including stainless steel and exotic alloys.

Requirements:
  • Certifications in orbital welding or relevant welding processes may be required.
  • Experience as an orbital welder or similar role, with a strong emphasis on the use of AMI welding equipment and autogenous and wire feed welding processes.
