Job Description

Grosvenor Casino, Didsbury

  • Lead the Food and Beverage Team with enthusiasm and expertise.
  • Ensure all departments are adequately resourced within budget constraints.
  • Assist in the training and induction of new team members, and support the development of existing team members through coaching and mentoring.
  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager in reviewing performance, monitoring through regular reviews and appraisals, and escalating concerns to the Management Team.
  • Actively collaborate with the Management Team to promote new business and suggest initiatives to achieve objectives.
  • Review your own performance in conjunction with the Food and Beverage Manager, highlighting areas for further training or support.
  • Maintain a high level of multi-skilling across departments to ensure maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Customer Focus

Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a value-for-money experience and encouraging repeat visits.

  • Stay up-to-date with current promotions and products to provide the best customer experience.
  • Offer a friendly, accurate, efficient, and prompt service of food and beverages, responding positively to customer requests.
  • Aware of daily, weekly, and monthly targets, ensuring the Food and Beverage Team works towards achieving these.
  • Actively promote the customer reward scheme.
  • Uphold the company's commitment to protecting young and vulnerable people, in accordance with the responsible gambling policy and procedures.

Shareholder Responsibilities

  • Accountable for handling monies and electronic point-of-sale responsibilities.
  • Required level of product knowledge of Food and Beverage Offers.
  • Knowledge of all equipment within the Food and Beverage Department, reporting faults to the Management Team.
  • Ensure replenishment of all stock is complete, providing customers with access to available products.
  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, escalating concerns to the Management Team.
  • Accurately account for stocks, spillages, and wastages, managing work quality and controls, and escalating concerns to the Management Team.
  • Comply with regulatory provisions regarding sanitation and food safety, adhering to cleaning schedules and maintaining agreed standards of housekeeping and presentation.
  • Promote a responsible drinking environment.
