Geography Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Geography to join our secondary school in Basingstoke. As a key member of our Geography department, you will deliver high-quality lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, inspiring them to develop a love for the subject.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, promoting student engagement and understanding.
• Inspire students across a range of age and attainment levels, fostering a love for Geography and encouraging academic excellence.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of our Geography department, sharing best practices and expertise.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with our school policies, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills, ensuring a well-structured and productive learning environment.
• UK residency and eligibility to work in the UK.
