About the Role

NCN Health is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Activity Assistant. As a key member of our Social Support Program team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality activity programs to clients who are eligible under various funding streams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the provision of group-based social and active exercise programs for clients.
  • Support the delivery of therapeutic activities to promote social, psychological, and physical well-being.
  • Contribute to the promotion, maintenance, and improvement of participant's quality of life.
  • Empower clients to participate in decision-making and activity planning.

Requirements

  • Vaccination against Covid-19 is a mandatory requirement.
  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care, Community, Disability, Leisure and Lifestyle, Diversional Therapy, Nursing, or Allied Health Assistant qualifications.
  • Commitment to enhancing the quality of life of frail aged people, people with disabilities, and their carers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
