Finance Team Member

FreeAgent Holdings Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of the Finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Process supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure the right level of approval is obtained for every purchase invoice
- Manage regular payment runs, ensuring suppliers are paid on time
- Monitor the Finance email inbox, dealing with queries promptly and efficiently
You will work closely with the Finance team to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. This includes reconciling the business bank account, managing petty cash, and processing ad-hoc payments as required.
Requirements:- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of financial ledgers and accounting systems
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience posting purchase invoices, credit notes, and payments
- Annual salary of £23,500 - £27,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- 33 days holiday per year, plus an extra day for each year of service
