**Job Description: Media Studies Instructor

We are looking for an experienced Media Studies Instructor to join our team at Remedy Education. As a Media Studies Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive media studies lessons to students.

 

**Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver dynamic media studies lessons that cover various aspects of media production, theory, and analysis.
  2. Create engaging lesson plans that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  3. Teach students to use media production equipment and software, such as cameras, editing tools, and graphic design programs.
  4. Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  5. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  6. Organise and oversee media projects, including film, photography, and digital media.

 

**Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Media Studies, Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Media Teacher, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of media production techniques and media theory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

 

The estimated salary for this position is £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
