Lead Process Engineer (Topsides) Opportunity

Orion Group is seeking a highly skilled Lead Process Engineer to join our team on a major greenfield offshore natural gas project. As a key member of our E&P Company, you will be responsible for managing the delivery and owning the Topsides contract for the Shallow Water Platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering, with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. You will be responsible for ensuring that the process design meets the required product delivery specification(s) at battery limits, and that the utility design meets the practical needs of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Lead Process Engineer to ensure that the process design meets the required product delivery specification(s) at battery limits.
  • Work with the commissioning and start-up teams to ensure a smooth transition from construction to operation.
  • Provide technical expertise as required for the process simulation model and process twin.
  • Participate in audits as required.
  • Actively maintain own competence according to standards and pursue continuous professional development.

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 12 years of total work experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of oil and gas industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Process Engineer on a mega project.

This is a direct hire position, based between UK/Europe, with an attractive expat package available for the right candidate. The role will require frequent travel to Europe, with flexibility to work remotely in the UK on other days.
