TIG Welder / Brazer Job Description

Seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Brazer to join our team in a busy production department, working on aerospace projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform TIG welding and high/low temperature brazing techniques on various materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel.
  • Manually inspect and test the quality of your work, adhering to BS EN:12797:2000 standards.
  • Work with technical drawings and specifications, interpreting and applying them to complete assemblies using handheld tools.
  • Meet the requirements of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and engineering drawings.
Requirements:
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with TIG welding and high/low temperature brazing/silver soldering.
  • Certification to BS EN:12797:2000 and AWSD17.1/D17.1M:2010-AMD1 standards (desirable).
