Job Title: Culinary Expert

Akari Care Careers is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Culinary Expert to join our team in one of our award-winning homes. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality food and personalized service.

About the Role:

  1. Create menus that cater to individual needs, religious, and cultural backgrounds
  2. Prepare and present outstanding quality, wholesome, and nutritious meals
  3. Coach a team to develop ideas and implement them as part of their personal development
  4. Work collaboratively with the extended care team to ensure seamless delivery of care

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene practices
  2. Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, staff, and external partners
  3. Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities
  4. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident experiences

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
