Forensic Psychologist

Join NELFT NHS Foundation Trust as a Forensic Psychologist and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services to individuals with complex needs.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, providing specialist psychological assessment and intervention to service users with serious mental health difficulties, including psychosis, personality disorder, and offending behavior.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans for service users.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy, as well as consultation and training to other professionals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways and effective service delivery.
- Participate in service evaluation and research to inform best practice and improve outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A doctoral qualification in psychology (clinical or forensic) accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Substantial experience in working with complex mental health issues, including psychosis, personality disorder, and offending behavior.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
