Accounts Assistant

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting our client in Poole, Dorset, who is seeking a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role has become available due to internal promotions within the current finance team, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable brand and contribute to credit control and wider transactional duties.

• Chase due payments via telephone, maintaining a professional approach and building valuable customer relationships;
• Ensure any queries are resolved;
• Perform daily bank statement downloads;
• Raise invoices;
• Deal with internal sales;
• Allocate funds received;
• Credit check new accounts and upload them on the company's bespoke systems and maintain their accounts database;
• Review customer accounts to ensure maximising cashflow.

• Confident IT and Excel user, with experience in V-lookups and Pivot tables;
• Previous debt management experience and credit control;
• Highly organised and a proactive 'can do' mindset;
• A professional manner who can handle sensitive situations and resolve issues in a mature manner;
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment.
