Job Summary
The Financial Manager is a key business partner to budget owners for their overheads/operating costs, with a well-developed ability to discuss and explain financial matters with non-financial colleagues of all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all budgeting, reforecasting, and long-term planning processes for overheads and non-operational capex, engaging the Senior Leadership Team and their direct reports to agree and review activities and costs.
- Headcount reporting and analysis to inform business decisions.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end close and reporting for overheads and IT capex in line with timetable.
- Provide effective, insightful, and accurate reporting and review of all overheads and non-operational capex costs with budget holders to ensure effective control of spend.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations for any balance sheet codes owned by this role.
- Review and approve finance-related aspects of payroll, liaising with outsourced payroll processing suppliers.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess strong financial management skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data, and communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
