Job Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our team at GLG Vets in Caterham, Surrey. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of high-quality care.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries, always maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness, offering expert insights and tailored support to help them make informed decisions about their pets' health.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress, ensuring seamless continuity of care and facilitating effective decision-making.
Salary Information: Up to &163;35,000 depending on experience, reflecting the importance we place on attracting and retaining talented professionals who share our commitment to delivering exceptional care.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in animal healthcare and welfare.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
