Job Summary:
Health Recruit Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spinal Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. As an Advanced Practitioner in Spinal Care, you will play a key role in the operational development of both in and outpatients, working closely with the Lead Spinal Consultant and collaborating with a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).
Key Responsibilities:
- Working as an advanced practitioner in spinal care, providing high-quality patient care and developing clinical skills.
- Collaborating closely with the Lead Spinal Consultant to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Working alongside a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Playing a key role in the operational development of both in and outpatients, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Efficiently managing a patient case load, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
Requirements:
- First Level Registered Nurse qualification is essential.
- Degree/Master level education and post-registration qualification(s) in the field of expertise with evidence of further professional development is essential.
- Significant experience in a senior nursing role within spinal and orthopedic surgery is required.
- Clear and thorough knowledge of the clinical care required for patients within ward areas is essential.
- Experience of working in a ward environment and managing the complaint process is required.
- Track record of achievements in clinical care and experience of working within multidisciplinary teams is essential.
