About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical/Multiskilled Fitter to join our team at Imerys British Lithium. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned, scheduled routine and reactive maintenance of fixed plant and associated systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Fault finding and diagnostics, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Providing engineering support for maintenance and installation activities
  • Installation of new equipment and process modifications
  • Ordering site spares and ensuring timely delivery
  • Adhering to Health and Safety standards and ensuring a safe working environment
  • Collaborating with the Site Engineer to ensure smooth operation of the plant

Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills, with experience in fault finding and diagnostics
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Good level of IT skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Legally able to drive in the UK
