About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Beaumont Camp Manager to join our team. As a Camp Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our multi-activity day camp, ensuring the well-being and safety of our young camp members, and delivering exceptional experiences for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the camp, including staff management, activity planning, and logistics
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all camp members, including implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures
  • Develop and deliver engaging sports and craft activities that cater to the needs and interests of our camp members
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager and other departments to ensure seamless camp operations
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and supportive camp environment
Requirements
  • Over 18 years old
  • Available to work during school holidays
  • UK/EU citizen with 2 x right to work ID's
  • Experience working in a childcare setting and managing a small team
  • Possess bags of energy and enthusiasm
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Have initiative and the ability to work independently
  • High level of safeguarding awareness
  • Paediatric first aid is desirable or this is offered as part of our training
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare (early years, QTS/ PGCE) or studying towards a relevant childcare qualification is essential
