SEN Teacher Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at a special needs school in South East London. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive staff, focusing on creating smaller classrooms with 6 students to ensure learner engagement.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining safeguarding and health and safety policies, adapting teaching styles to meet individual needs, and teaching across Key Stage 1-2. They will also understand barriers to learning and develop strategies to overcome them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have experience working with SEN children, a strong understanding of safeguarding and health and safety policies, and excellent communication skills. A salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience.
