Lead Fetal Sonographer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Fetal Sonographer to lead our sonographer-led Fetal Medicine service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the service, working closely with our Consultant and Centre Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead the Fetal Medicine service, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ultrasound scanning and equipment management.
  • Liaise with commercial and marketing teams to promote the service and network with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Consultant and Centre Director to develop the service and support its growth.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in Obs and Gynae ultrasound.
  • Experience working at Band 7 level or equivalent.
  • Evidence of academic achievement at a Master's degree level.
  • Post Graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound.
  • Fully competent in all Fetal Ultrasound scanning, including transvaginal, Doppler, and Nuchal translucency.
  • Registered Radiographer with HCPC or Registered Midwife with NMC registration is desired but not essential.
