You will work closely with project teams to ensure that mechanical requirements are met and that drawings are prepared, stored, issued, and archived in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

* Produce high-quality models and drawings within specified timeframes
* Assist in the design and manufacturing process of projects
* Ensure drawings match materials allocated and meet PO requirements
* Use CAD software to produce drawings from initial concept to completion
* Liaise with project teams regarding mechanical requirements
* Manage changes to product designs
* Ensure drawings are prepared, stored, issued, and archived in accordance with company procedures

Requirements

* GCSE (or equivalent) in English, Maths & Science
* Intermediate CAD software experience (SolidWorks, Autocad, etc)
* Ability to understand, evaluate, and apply technical information
* Knowledge and understanding of good steel fabrication practices and standards
* Understanding of Construction Engineering Industry (advantageous)
