About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Careers Advisor to join our team at Aldridge Education. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality careers guidance and activities to our students.

As a Careers Advisor, you will be responsible for leading 1-2-1 careers meetings, group work with younger students, and supporting parents/careers. You will also work closely with our sixth form teams to ensure students are prepared for their next steps, whether that be university, apprenticeships, or employment.

We are looking for an individual who is able to bring their own ideas to the role and make a positive contribution to the career education of our students. The successful candidate will have a Level 6 qualification in careers guidance and a passion for helping young people achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality careers guidance and activities to students
  • Lead 1-2-1 careers meetings and group work with younger students
  • Support parents/careers and work closely with our sixth form teams
  • Develop and implement careers education programs
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of careers guidance
