Sales Development Representative Job at Proteintech Group

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join our sales team as an Inside Sales Account Manager, working closely with customers to develop long-term relationships and grow business together. You will be responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and representing our company at industry events.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products.
- Proactively search for and connect with new prospects through cold calls, emails, and lead follow-ups.
- Utilize your interpersonal and communication skills to provide effective solutions to customer needs, with technical support provided by our in-house team.
- Represent Proteintech at symposiums and exhibitions to further build brand awareness.
- Visit key customers in your region to discuss their needs and identify potential sales opportunities.
- Follow up on leads, free samples, website requests, and quotes to ensure timely responses and close deals.
- Maintain and improve contact data on our Salesforce CRM system.
- Provide feedback to our marketing and product development teams on customer and competitor activities.
- Responsible for meeting and reporting on sales targets (revenue & KPI).
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science discipline.
- Experience in life science/biotech sales would be an advantage.
- Independent, driven, and able to work on own initiative.
- High level of professional communication skills and confidence to interact with scientists at all levels.
- Prepared to travel up to 25% of time (predominantly within territory).
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Full driving license.
- Fluent in English.
- German, French, or Spanish language skills would be an advantage.
Estimated Salary Range
The estimated salary range for this role is between £45,000 and £65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
