Job Title: Forklift Lift Truck Driver

Location: UK

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off

Hours: 38.5 Hours

Rate of Pay: £15.16 per hour

ABM UK are seeking a skilled Forklift Lift Truck Driver to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our janitorial and waste removal team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other cleaning equipment to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Handle waste generated on site via approved waste streams and ensure it is ready for transportation.
  • Support the waste removal team to ensure production remains constant.
  • Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in a safe working order.
  • Communicate effectively with your team and line manager.
  • Wear protective clothing (PPE) and comply with Health & Safety legislation and policies.

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory response from Disclosure Board at a basic level and knowledge of health and safety requirements or a willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods or a willingness to learn.
  • High attention to detail.
  • An ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • An ability to quickly adapt to a very busy operational environment.
  • A reliable and flexible approach to work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
