Gleeds is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering cost management services to our clients across various sectors, including PBSA, Higher Education, Commercial, Retail, Life Sciences, Industrial & Office Refurbishment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Delivering cost management services to clients, including cost estimating, cost planning, and cost reporting.
  • Working collaboratively with project teams to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Providing accurate cost estimates and budgets.
  • Conducting cost analysis and risk assessments.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders and clients.
  • Delivering high-quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet clients' requirements.
  • Advising on and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Preparing tender documentation and managing the tender process.
  • Evaluating and reporting on tenders.
  • Cost reporting and preparing cashflow forecast.
  • Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.
  • Settling final accounts.
  • Identifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across the Business Units activities.
  • Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.
