Job Title: Damp Surveyor Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Damp Surveyor Specialist to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. The successful candidate will have a strong background in damp diagnosis and remedial action, with a focus on condensation and mould issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough property surveys to identify and diagnose damp and condensation issues
  • Develop and implement remedial action plans to address identified issues
  • Provide expert advice on building structures and their contribution to damp and condensation issues
  • Use equipment to aid with diagnostics and undertake seasonal monitoring
  • Produce detailed reports and specifications for improvement works
  • Order and supervise works to completion, ensuring compliance with Council Health & Safety Standards and other statutory requirements
  • Manage external resources through PFI contract partnering to ensure best value for the client
  • Respond to complaints, compliments, and requests for information, and consider service review and development in the light of these

Requirements:

  • Experience in damp diagnosis and remedial action, with a focus on condensation and mould issues
  • Strong scientific knowledge of mould and its causes and effects
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and prioritize workloads
  • Ability to work alone to meet strict deadlines and carry out post-inspections
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with tenants and other stakeholders
  • Ability to produce detailed reports and specifications for improvement works
  • Knowledge of building structures and their contribution to damp and condensation issues

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time position, working within our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. The successful candidate will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and will be expected to meet strict deadlines.
