About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our Forensic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team (FCAMHS) and Harmful Sexual Behaviour Service for Young People. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist forensic consultation, assessment, and intervention for children and adolescents with complex mental health presentations and offending/risk behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and clinical leadership to team members
  • Work closely with regional partners to develop and maintain multi-professional and multi-agency partnerships
  • Contribute to the development of the team and service through education, mentorship, coaching, teaching, assessing, and presenting
  • Participate in the assessment and intervention of young people with complex mental health needs
Requirements
  • Professional qualification relevant to practice area, with study to degree level
  • Registered practitioner with a professional body
  • Full understanding and application of relevant clinical practice, standards, and audit within the identified service area
