About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Specialist Acute Medicine Physician to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a forward-thinking department that is developing innovative services for older adults.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the consultant-led service, providing the highest standard of care to patients
  • Collaborate with the multi-professional team to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines
  • Contribute to the development of good working practices within wards, outpatients, and A&E
  • Support and lead junior medical colleagues, nursing colleagues, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team

Clinical Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in Acute Medicine and Gerontology. They will be responsible for working with colleagues to provide a consultant-led service, participating in the consultant on-call rota, and contributing to the development of care pathways and clinical guidelines.
