The Baobab Centre for Young Survivors is committed to supporting young asylum seekers and refugees who have experienced human rights abuses. As the Philanthropy Programme Director, you will be responsible for leading our philanthropy programme, developing strategies to secure funding from charitable trusts and foundations, as well as nurturing and growing existing fundraising relationships. You will play a key role in our operations team, assisting in delivering our individual major donor programme and contributing to the growth of our fundraising activities.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $95,000 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits. You will receive expert monthly mentoring from a senior fundraising consultant and have the opportunity to become an active member in our community, developing meaningful relationships with the young people we support. In addition, you will have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities to support your growth and success.

We require a highly skilled and experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of success in securing funding from charitable trusts and foundations. You should have excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. A collaborative approach to working with others is essential, with a commitment to shared thinking time, sharing responsibilities and working together.
