About the Role
Cathedral Appointments | South West Recruitment is seeking an experienced Insolvency Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate and Commercial department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of insolvency and restructuring.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional client service, working closely with clients to understand their commercial and personal needs
- Develop and maintain a strong network of referrer contacts in the region, securing new client instructions and promoting the firm's services
- Collaborate with the Corporate and Commercial teams to ensure seamless and exemplary client service
- Work closely with the Dispute Resolution teams to share knowledge and best practices
- Support the development of the Insolvency team, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Experience as an Insolvency Lawyer in a UK law firm, handling a varied caseload of good quality insolvency matters with limited supervision
- Strong client care skills, with the ability to listen and empathise with clients
- Technical skills, with the ability to handle complex matters and provide clear, commercially relevant advice
- Ability to generate new business opportunities, promoting your profile and building up referrer networks
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work strategically with clients and as part of a team
