We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Professional to work in Plymouth, starting immediately.

The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching KS3-KS4 pupils and be looking for flexible working with a consultant who can match them with the perfect school.

We work with reputable Secondary schools around the city and can offer a variety of placements local to the candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning, delivering and assessing outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approaches that enable young people to learn.
  • Being a class tutor, ensuring needs are met and establishing excellent relationships with students.
  • Engaging and motivating pupils.
  • Inspiring trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, parents and other professionals.
  • Building team commitment with colleagues and in the classroom.
  • Engaging in whole school activities as required by the Headteacher.
  • Adhering to all working protocols as agreed and published in the handbook.
  • Planning and leading children in off-site enrichment activities.
  • Ensuring they uphold all safeguarding procedures, including engaging in annual safeguarding training, including induction training.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Successful class teaching experience.
  • An excellent knowledge of the curriculum area.
  • A degree.
  • QTS.
  • Most recent employment reference details.
