Job Title: Heavy Machinery Specialist

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Carnell Support Services is seeking a skilled Heavy Machinery Specialist to operate excavators for various construction and earthmoving tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating heavy machinery.

Duties:

  • Operate excavators to perform digging, trenching, and grading tasks on construction sites.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to determine excavation requirements.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site.
  • Communicate effectively with ground crew to ensure precise digging and movement of materials.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials from lorries as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to conduct pre-operational checks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
